As part of the ongoing development of RCTSFA, the association is seeking to appoint up to 4 RCTSFA Ambassadors who will help underpin the future growth of the association.
The association would like to draw the Ambassadors from RCT Schools, 2 from the Primary Schools sector and 2 from the Secondary Schools.
These are voluntary roles and Ambassadors can contribute in many ways. Crucially we don't simply measure contributions in hours and minutes; even a little advice and input can help us significantly.
Typically the roles will encompass one, many or all of the following activities, depending on the Ambassador's interest and background:
- Contribute to the development plans of RCTSFA, with particular reference to a growth in inter-schools competitions, raising the profile of RCTSFA representative squads and the associated nominations process and to generally promote the activities of RCTSFA across our Primary and Secondary Schools in RCT
- To ensure that the association is closely aligned to the requirements, expectations and interests of Schools in RCT
- To identify potential volunteer schoolteachers who may be willing to support the association in either coaching, administrative or leadership positions
- To provide guidance and support for the strategic direction of the association
- To act as "non executive" Directors of RCTSFA and attend Board meetings as observers
- To help the association achieve a sustainable business model in terms of financial management and talent ID
- Ambassadors must be serving or retired school teachers who live and have worked in schools in RCT
For further information or if you would like to discuss these positions further, please email rctschoolsfa@gmail.com or call Ceri Jones on 07792190761.
