On the significant day of International Womens Day, the Association is delighted to announce that Theresa Kemble is our new Head of Girls Football. Theresa has been engaged in football as a player and has coached squads at all age groups from junior through to senior football, and at various points led the RCT girls regional squads and the Aberdare League Development Centre.
A former coach at the Cardiff City ADC and now currently leading a squad at Llwydcoed, Theresa will bring to the role extensive experience and insight.
The appointment is key to the future development of the girls pathway; RCTSFA Chairman, Ceri Jones, welcomed the addition to the Association,
. "The Association has achieved notable successes within the female pathway, including the capture of national team honours, the elevation of our players to represent us at National level and a large number of former players going on to play football at the highest level in Wales. But our aim to continue to progress and grow and I look forward to working with Theresa to continue our improvement".
