RCTSFA is delighted to confirm the appointment of Mr Cori Mabey of Treorchy Comprehensive as our inaugural Head of Boys Football.

The role is part of the new leadership architecture that is being built by the Association since the implementation of our new constitution in February 2020. Mr Mabey will lead on the recruitment of coaching staff for the boys county pathway and at a more strategic level the development of a footballing philosophy for our boys county squads..

Brian Hughes, the Secretary of RCTSFA, hailed the significance of the appointment, "Mr Mabey has a strong track record of leading and coaching football teams within a Schools environment, with notable success in the WSFA Welsh Cup and the RCT Cup. Given Mr Mabey's teaching background, the appointment is a perfect fit for the Association to help us shape our future direction."
