To complete the set of new recent appointments to the committee of RCTSFA, Andrew Williams will join as our new Head of Girls football.

Andrew is another current member of our coaching team as lead for our U10Gs Development Squad. Andrew has a long pedigree as a coach at grassroots level and is also currently a volunteer at Ely Valley Juniors FC. Having been at EVFC for the last 7 years, Andrew has vast experience in the game with his association with the U12s squad since they first kicked a ball at the age of 4!

Andrew's enthusiasm and advocacy for girls football is second to none, "I started coaching my daughters team when they were under 6s, and due to the number of girls playing in the mixed team, we decided to split them and take on a fully girls team. That team is now playing up at under 11s despite them all being under 10s. I got involved with RCTSFA around 18 months ago after I suggested to one of the development coaches that they should start the girls' squad at the same age as the boys. I've been a big advocate for the girls' game, and I am looking forward to being able to help and develop current and future RCT female footballers."

We look forward to working with Andrew as the Association seeks to consolidate its offer to footballers across RCT.
