RCTSFA can announce that Swansea SFA is the inaugural winners of the RCTSFA U12s Girls Invitational Shield. With football suspended since mid March, the Association has opted to end the group now, though due to Swansea SFA's unassailable lead at the top of the group, the only reasonable and fair outcome to the season is to award them the shield.
"As an Association,we firmly believe in sporting integrity and fair play, these are the values that guide everything that we do and indeed underpins schools football. Swansea has prevailed and won the group outright and deserve the recognition,; we would like to thank the other entrants Newport, Caerphilly and, of course, our brilliant RCT squad. The U12s format is a fantastic preparation for the county squads before they proceed to the National competition at U13s ", said the RCTSFA Head of Girls Football, Chris Hooper.
RCTSFA will award the shield to Swansea when it is safe to do. Congratulations to Andy Stephens and the whole team at Swansea SFA
